Flagler County Delinquent Property Tax List
Taxes are collected out of Bunnell on the same statutory calendar as every other Florida county — delinquent April 1, certificates sold on or before June 1. We cover that cycle, and why this is a different lead from pre-foreclosure, here. What is not the same in every county is the property behind the delinquency, and how Flagler runs its sale.
Where to find Flagler County's delinquent property tax list
Flagler publishes its list as a newspaper ad, run three times in May. To look up a single account, the Tax Collector's property tax page links a search and pay portal at flagler.county-taxes.com.
The tax certificate page and the county-held certificates page cover the sale rules.
Each Flagler County row carries the parcel, property address, owner, owner's mailing address, tax amount due with its measured date, owner-occupancy, homestead exemption status and assessed market value. Skip tracing runs inside Lispend and is bought separately as credits.
What the delinquent roll in Flagler County is made of
Flagler taxes go delinquent on April 1, when a 3% penalty is added, and every real estate account still unpaid on May 1 goes into the newspaper ad.
The property behind it
In the Census Bureau's 2024 American Community Survey, Flagler has 66,328 homes. 79.4% are single-family detached, and the median home was built in 2003.
Concentrated around Palm Coast, Bunnell, Flagler Beach.
How Flagler County runs its certificate sale
A certificate holder can apply for a tax deed once the certificate is 2 years old. The certificate sale for delinquent real estate taxes begins on or before June 1 and runs on LienHub. Bidding opens at 18% and drops a quarter point at a time. Certificates nobody bids on go to the county, and those are sold on LienHub from July 1 at 18% interest. The Clerk of Courts schedules and runs the tax deed sale as an online auction at flagler.realtaxdeed.com.
What to do differently here
A tax deed applicant earns interest at 1.5% per month. The Clerk accepts cash, certified check, cashier's check or money order at the deed sale, and personal and business checks are not accepted.
